SEO Engine Pro is a free, fully client-side Chrome extension for on-page SEO audits and content research. It analyzes the current tab and shows practical SEO insights across five tabs: Overview, Headings, Images, SERP, and Export. Everything runs locally in your browser with no accounts, no paid APIs, and no data sent to external servers.
Key features
Overview audit
Inspect title, meta description, canonical URL, robots directives, language, word count, reading time, top phrase frequency, and JSON-LD schema.
Headings tree
View an H1–H6 hierarchy tree, spot missing or multiple H1s and skipped levels, edit headings, and copy an outline as Markdown.
Image analysis
Review image URLs, ALT text, natural vs rendered dimensions, filter missing ALT or external images, copy URLs, export lists, and download images.
SERP research
On Google results pages, collect People Also Ask questions, related searches, and topic cues, then copy a Q&A outline for content research.
Multi-format export
Preview Open Graph and Twitter/X cards, then download a full audit as Markdown, CSV, or JSON.
Private by design
No backend server, no tracking scripts, no data uploads. All page analysis stays on your device.
How to use
- 1Open any webpage (or a Google results page for SERP tools).
- 2Click the SEO Engine Pro icon.
- 3Review Overview, Headings, Images, SERP, and Export tabs.
- 4Click Refresh after page changes to re-scan.
- 5Export reports or download images when needed.
Tips
- • On Google results pages, expand People Also Ask items first, then click Refresh to capture more detailed snippets.
