How to Resize an Image

  1. Drop or select one or more images.
  2. Enter custom dimensions or pick a preset (16×16, 32×32, 1200×630, etc.).
  3. Choose fit mode (stretch, contain, or cover) and export format.
  4. Click Resize, then download files individually or as a ZIP.

Fit Modes

Stretch — fills box exactly (may distort)
Contain — fits whole image inside box
Cover — fills box, crops edges

Example

Resize a 512×512 logo to 16×16 and 32×32 favicon PNGs, plus a 1200×630 Open Graph card — download all three as a ZIP.

Can I resize an image to 16×16 for a favicon?

Yes. Use the 16×16 preset or enter 16 for both width and height, then export as PNG or ICO.

Which export formats are supported?

PNG, JPEG, WebP, and ICO. You can also keep the original format when possible.

What are stretch, contain, and cover fit modes?

Stretch fills the target box exactly (may distort). Contain fits the whole image inside the box. Cover fills the box while cropping edges to preserve aspect ratio.

Can I resize multiple images at once?

Yes. Add several files, apply dimensions or presets, click Resize, and download individually or as a ZIP.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Resizing runs entirely in your browser. Files never leave your device.

Will resizing reduce image quality?

Downscaling generally looks sharp. Upscaling beyond the original size may look soft because new pixels are interpolated.

What preset sizes are available?

Presets include 16×16, 32×32, 1200×630 for Open Graph cards, and other common web dimensions. You can also enter any custom width and height.
