Age Calculation Formula

Age = Target Date − Birth Date
Total Days = (Target − Birth) ÷ 86,400,000 ms
  • Years = full calendar years elapsed
  • Months = remaining full months after years
  • Days = remaining days after months (borrows from prior month if needed)

Worked Example

Born January 1, 1998, calculating age on July 31, 2026: 28 years, 6 months, 30 days. Total days alive ≈ 10,430 days (about 250,320 hours). Next birthday (January 1, 2027) is 154 days away from July 31, 2026.
